ABOUT

After graduating from Koç Private High School, Sezin Benli began studying Psychology at Bilgi University, where she graduated with high honors. Her undergraduate thesis explored the relationship between time perception and life satisfaction. She then completed her Master's program in Clinical Psychology at Bilgi University, which she started in 2015, with a thesis examining the factors contributing to the psychological resilience of individuals who grew up under state protection.
Since her undergraduate years, Sezin has assisted in various scientific research projects. She has conducted psychotherapy sessions at the Bilgi University Psychological Counseling Center, Kızılay Bağcılar Community Center, and Koruncuk Foundation.
Currently, she continues her clinical work both online and at a private psychotherapy center in Istanbul. Additionally, she participates in various civil society and European Union projects, particularly those focused on children under state protection.
She primarily works with adults, adolescents, and their families, providing psychotherapy in both Turkish and English. Her theoretical orientation is rooted in psychodynamic, systemic and narrative therapy, and she is a certified EMDR practitioner.
She is a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association (TPD) and the Association of Couple Family Therapies (ÇATED).
